Welcome to my blog! First of all, my Horse, Gabe, has a nick name of "Gabe the Babe". He is kinda vain. So, that is how I came up with calling myself Gabe's Babe because I totally belong to him and not the other way around. Gabe is a spoiled Quarter Horse who runs barrels. He loves to give riding lessons too. I have owned this horse since he was a yearling and he is now 9. I raised him and trained him. Anyhow, that is Gabe......

I also have 5 other ponies. I have a broodmare named "Bring on the Day". She is currently being bred to RC Indian Bullion. She is out of Jody O'Toole/ Pacific Bailey bloodlines. He is Bully Bullion, Indians Image and something else I cant remember....lol I have a 4yo gelding, JoesStreakinForCash. I have raised and trained this one too....however Junior Reicheart did put the first 30 days on Joe. He is loping the pattern right now. I have ZBar Lynx to Cash who is so well bred....he is a product of 3 generations of horses from our place. Another words, we raised him too...he is 3 now. I sent him to Dee Carlton, Tilted C Barrel Horses for 90 days to get broke to ride and started on the pattern...he is now loping the pattern too. Sandy Triple Bar is is my lil' mare that I just got. She is small but really sharp. She is coming along really nice too. Trip is a 5yo and just starting the barrels. Then we have Hot Scotch Tottie. She is a 3yo too. But she has not been broke yet. She needed more time to mature.

OK so now you met the horses....wanna know me? I am a left handed blonde aggie. lol I run to the left (on 3 of 4 ponies) and have two degrees from TAMU. I live in east Texas and that puts me at a disadvantage for going to barrel races.....I am far from everything! Been married for about  2 years to a great guy named Jeff. Hes an Aggie too....No kids but we plan to have one soon. Just gotta keep tryin' as the doc says. I am 31 this year and feeling it.....I decided to go back to school and gain a teaching certification. Soon I will be certified to teach Ag. I am really excited about this! Its been a long time coming! Anyhow, after I was laid off a year ago I had to find something to better myself even though i have a masters degree.....ugh. So I went back in January and began this program. For now I am a substitute teacher and horse trainer for myself. I also have my own biz renting bits and selling pureform joint supplements.
