Lame Horse

Somebody rein me in: my horse is on his 4th week of rest for mild check ligament strain; I was allowed to begin walking under saddle; I see a very slight high bow now, the vet is coming tomorrow; she said the bow is from the check ligament; I had planned on a slow run this coming week; I am going thru race withdrawals but will do what vet recommends (I hope); somebody remind me that if I screw him up he'll be off for a YEAR!!!
